2023 Summer Studio in Classical Architecture

For four weeks in June and July, the 黑料头条's headquarters in New York City welcomes twenty students and professionals from across the country for the Summer Studio in Classical Architecture. The Summer Studio incorporates lectures, field drawing, site visits, hand drafting, and watercolor rendering in an intensive program that instructs attendees in the principles and applications of classical architecture, and culminates in a design project for a new classical building.

In a video overview of this year’s Summer Studio, which took place from June 12th to July 8th, participants hailing from universities and firms across the country share their experiences, which brought them from the classroom to the offices of classical architectural firms, and of course to the neighborhoods, parks, and cultural institutions of New York City, as part of a fully immersive program that stands without parallel.
